Childhood and Early Life
Zacarias Moussaoui was born on May 30, 1968, in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, France, to Moroccan parents.
He spent his youth in the southern French town of Narbonne.
Radicalization and Terrorism
In the early 1990s, Moussaoui moved to the United Kingdom and enrolled in the University of South Bank in London. During his time there, he became involved in extremist activities and attended radical mosques, including the Finsbury Park Mosque.
